Recently I have been drawn to any kind of wire sculpture......more functional than decorative. While shopping the Maeystown Flea Market several week ago, we found this wonderful rusted industrial basket. I knew it could find a good home with me......and sure enough after trying it several places it landed on our dining room wall. Now, I need to find a couple more to finish out the space. I really love it and it shows off my collection of white pitchers:D After cleaning it I gave it a coat of Poly to seal the rust and enrich the tone.

I have a thing for wire baskets. LOVE them. I have to stop myself from buying them, cause I have too many. This one is a beauty and what a great display idea! I LOVE it. You've inspired me to use some of mine in a different way!

Just got my contributors copy of the new Somerset Studio Gallery with your Whimsy Journal in it. AWESOME. How fun! I can't wait to also look at the video's you mentioned. Thanks for your inspiring work.
