New Christmas aquisitions, quilt and Milly!!!!!

My Milly doing some serious painting the other day! This has been the week for kids around here:D I had Milly two days because she has a virus that has caused blisters on her tongue and mouth:( The boys came to visit about an hour after Milly left to have a sleepover while Mom and Daddy attended to business:D

This baby quilt was made a month or so ago for a shower......that I missed:( I thought it turned out so cute I would publish the photos:D It is simply a piece of fabric I bought on Etsy and I made a coordinating border of wonderful fun fabrics I found at a Jackman's fabric sale! I have a wonderful woman, Sally, that has the huge Long Arm in her home. She lives close by and quilts most of my quilts. On this one she outlined the circus images. She usually writes the child's name and date into the quilt. So Sweet..............

Our upstairs mantel this Christmas Holiday!
I found this fabulous Ark at the Antique Mall where my sis and I have a booth! I couldn't resist:D Some of the animals were missing, but otherwise it was in good shape. I really like it and will probably leave it up all winter....just because:D

I think the kids will really like the Ark.............

Below............Our front door!

I found this old Mail Bag at a Garage Sale several months ago and took it to Sue (Recycled Rose)! Look what she did with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is my holiday door and will be for the next several years:D I simply love it!
(notice the little Santa winking at you?)

Oh my goodness, I don't know which one I love more, the ark or the mailbag!! I think I would have to leave both out all year long!! I hope Milly is feeling better too, she looks like such a sweetie.
