QUALITY TIME..............

I don't get to spend "quality time" with my sister
and
this little vacation, like others, provided time for us to be together 24/7.
We visited the National Quilt Museum in Paducah
along with many of the artist's studios in the "Lower Art District".
Unfortunately, many were closed
while some had gone under......sad commentary on the state of the union!
We sat and sketched in our journals on the cabin deck...............
with No Particular schedule to follow:)
We visited some shops,
thrift stores
and
Antique Malls
where some purchases were made....ha..ha!
We talked, without interruption about any and everything:)
We visited the Village Pool
where we met a darling couple we shared time with.
We went to "Hancock of Paducah"
for those of you that are fabric lovers.......
WOW......bolts and bolts of heavenly prints.
We actually went back twice to get a few more pieces
knowing it would be awhile before we got back to Paducah.
One night we sent the boys out for dinner alone....................while we watched,
"So You Think You Can Dance"
....a favorite to both of us!!!!!
They brought us back a wonderful Catfish dinner.....so sweet!
With the guys playing golf everyday in the HEAT,
they were ready for a nap when they got off the links.....................
perfect fit for our little day trips.
At night we all enjoyed telling of our day
while we ate some fabulous meals together:)
The Kentucky Dam Village is a perfect spot for a family vacation!

Sounds like a wonderful vacation. I love my brother dearly, but sure wish I had a sister too--what a great bond that must be.
