This is all "reclaimed space" that was being taken away and made useless by erosion! The shade of the trees (planted 11 yrs. ago) had kept anything from growing the past several years. Now, with the help of a great landscape man, Frank, we have a wonderful area for housing the garden cart along with toys for the kids. Although I am not sure what I want up in that area....for now it is just the thrill of being able to go up and down the hill on that side of the house! No more dirt and sliding down the hill.......................always a challenge..LOL! Now, it will be my fault if I fall going down the hill.....not the lay of the land:) I worked all day yesterday pretty-ing it up with new pots and plants. Relaying the stones and freshening up the garden. I am so happy with this little project I could shout out loud.....oh....oh....I already did!
