PA PA Rog......................

Treadmills
Pa pa has a special bond with ALL the grandchildren!!!! He gets down on the floor and plays and plays with them. He loves to make silly sounds, faces and dances to get their attention! He doesn't buy their attention, he simply makes everything a toy and plays with them. Not to long ago the twins spent the night with us and Rog made a trampoline out of our blow-up queen size mattress. They rolled and played for hours:D He makes a toy out of his old watch that has a button that turns on a light inside (making it visible in the dark). Well, that became a toy to covet...ha..ha! He loves to play with them using the huge exercise ball, or a piece of plastic wrap. He makes hats out of plastic bowls or coffee filters.....and will play "Hide and Seek" at the drop of a hat:D He cuts out pictures of young models from the newpaper every evening and sends a collection to our granddaughter, Josie, once a week. She is only 6 and loves getting mail....especially pictures of models since that is her dream for the future. Every Friday he takes off work early to go visit his girls. He stops to see Josie, Gabby, Margo and Milly. Margo never comes over or do we go to visit her without a "Happy Meal" in our hand! Most visits to our house start out with Papa putting Margo into the car and going to Micky D's for french fries! Autistic children love routine and they have had that on going for almost 2 years now:D
Sunday, when Papa went down into the yard to finish cutting down the Pampus Grass.....the boys stood on the deck longingly watching his every move. They kept yelling at him....Papa...Papa trying to get him to come back up with them. I took this pics because their longing was so adorable! They even tried to crawl through the railing.....so precious!

That is so sweet. The special bond between "grands" is a wonderful thing. My boys have that bond and I'm so thankful. I wish I could have had it, but I never lived close to mine during the young important years. It will be wonderful to become a grandparent someday and create my own special bonds---what fun!!
