Another Beautiful Day in the Yard!

Treadmills

Thought I would share just a few more pics from the yard since that is where I have spent the last 4 day! Yesterday we accomplished a lot! Got both decks stained and sealed, potted my deck plants, cleaned out another couple of gardens, spread mulch, moved a couple plants and planted a few new ones:D Do any of you remember me saying last Fall that I was going to really cut back on the number of pots I planted this year......well, I did say that and am keeping my word. I mentioned last year that one of my favorites was Pink Oliander!!!! Well, lucky me, while shopping Walmart Sat. for mulch and a few yard tools.....there.....straight ahead of me was the silhouette that looked very familiar! As I got closer...it was...my beloved OLIANDER at WALMART!!!! WHAT??? I couldn't believe it! I usually have to go to my local nursery to get my plants...but there they were:D Not only were they the plants I love, but at half the price. I could hardly catch my breath....lol! Anyway, they also had some really nice Hibuiscus Trees for a very good price. I stuck to my guns even though I was dying to fill my cart with lovely annuals and perennials...
You can see the large Olianders and Hibiscus in the collage. They are all potted and ready to take up on the deck as soon as the sealer dries:D Rog got the fountains going and I also worked on the kids area under the deck:D All in all....a very good day:)
The trees continue to put on their show and just get better as the days go by:D The beauty is breathtaking!!!! At the upper right of the collage you can see the fingers of Salomon Seal!! They are such a pretty and unusual plant with a tiny white flower the hangs under the leaves of the plant! You may have to click on the collage to make it big enough to see them:D

Beautiful Linda! I always say the same thing about not buying as many plants. Now you have me wondering about the Oleander!

J planted a green Japanese Maple today. Our little Crepe Myrtle didn't survive winter, this year. It never did grow much. I hope we have better luck with this new tree!

We're enjoying the great weather! Spent the morning at World Outdoor Emporium West, buying the tree. Have you been there? Lots of fun and lots to see!
