Somerset Apprentice.......

I was so surprised today when the mail came today:D I knew that I was going to have an article in Somerset Appentice, but when I opened it......I found two! WOW, it was a real thrill to be considered a PRO in their eyes when they handle so many fabulous artists' work! Thanks Jana and the staff......the publication is beautiful and filled with wonderful tips!

I finally got a copy of the Somerset "Art Journaling" Summer edition.

I was so excited to see my work in print.

It never gets old...ha..ha!

They always do such a wonderful job with their photography!

They have had my journal for more than a year

so you can imagine my surprise

when someone told me that my article appeared in the Summer 2010 magazine

last May:D

Even though I didn't get to see it,

it is always a thrill knowing they like your work enough to publish it:D

They have also told me that one of my felted wool purses

may appear in a Handbag issue.

We shall see!

SURPRISE!

Yesterday I received a nice check from Stampington Co. What a surprise, since they usually let you know if something has been published by sending you a free copy of the magazine. Well, I had NO IDEA.....and wrote one of the editors to see what it was for. She quickly wrote back and said due to some changes in staff they had overlooked letting me know. I have a 6 page spread in the Summer edition of "Art Journaling". Now, I can't wait to see what it is:) Little surprises like that can keep coming as far as I am concerned.....YEA!
