My cousin Don passed away last week. We had enjoyed his 80th Birthday in July....and so glad we were able to make it.
We have few relatives and Donnie has always been the Alpha Male in our Chicago family :)
My sis and I have only 2 cousins and Don always played an important part in our growing up.
So sad to think that we can never call or hear his Chicago accent answering the phone again.
A wise man, a kind man, a loving man....will be missed by many!
Although every one wasn't there....we took advantage of the moment for a partial family portrait:) So glad they came to visit.....maybe fate had something to do with it?
