HOMEMADE CHALK PAINT!

The studio is full of projects in various stages of completion:)
I am so excited about making my own chalk paint.....
I am painting anything I can get my hands on...LOL!
I am using the last of my FIRST QUART of Homemade Chalk Paint
and
IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY!

Not to long ago, I post about making your own Chalk Paint
here
The results are amazing...
Just like ASCP
with all of the same
wonderful
characteristics
at a cost of
about 4.00/quart

These pieces are waiting to be sanded, waxed or buffed!

If your budget is anything like mine......
it has little room for 35.00/quart + shipping.

This way I am using up all of the left-over paint we have around the house
and mixing my own colors when it suits me:)

These pieces were all painted using the Calcium Carbonate
mixed with Porter Paint's
"Newport Tint",
a color we have used for years.
If you are a Chalk Paint fan....
I highly recommend you trying this solution that
is so much more budget friendly!

your pieces are looking great.
I so agree about 4.00 is far better than 40.00 for the same result.
good for you and thanks for posting so we can see.
