The Elves are Busy.....

OH MY......what a busy night.....ha..ha! In between watching "Dancing with the Stars" and the taped new "24" from last night, I could hardly get my work done :) Here are a few of the cards and a couple of new ornaments I made for the shop.....you know "Recycled Rose" :)
We have been feeling the economical pinch like everyone else......and....with all these kids and grandkids to buy for this year we have made a few cut-backs. It is official, my youngest and his wife (Kansas City) are awaiting the arrival of our 12th grandchild!!!!!! YEA! They have been married 5 yrs. now and were getting worried....s0 was I! But all is well and we will greet our latest this coming JUNE! Because everyone has babies or will soon......we decided to just buy for the little ones! I have asked our neighbor to play SANTA and the costume is ordered! This year it will be ALL ABOUT THE WEE ONES :) I have been scurrying around the studio making as many cards, ornaments, boxes and journals as I possibly can to provide the funds for a Christmas full of toys and little peeps :)
If anyone has an unusual idea for a fun menu for Christmas Eve.....it would sure be welcome! One party last winter I served 4 kinds of soups, 6 different breads and flavored butters. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it, but I am stumped this year! Just drop me a note in the comment section and if I use your suggestion I will have a really cool gift coming your way :)

I got a really great recipe at a Pampered Chef party a few years ago. It's for a Cranberry Turkey Ring or something like that. You use crescent rolls, turkey or chicken, cranberries, celery, etc, etc. You form it in to a ring--you'd have to see the recipe to get the idea---but it's really good along with other party food and it has your meat, vegetables and bread all in one.

I love these ornaments. love the color combination of pink, silver, and gold together. we like to do fondue on Christmas Eve. We have a pot of beef broth, a pot of cheese, and a pot of chocolate. We dip meat, French bread, and fruit and angelfood cake. It is so much fun.

If you can't find the recipe, let me know. I bought the recipe book at one of the parties and I think it even has a picture with the directions for making the wreath. I made it a few times, but it's been awhile. I could email it to you if you want it.
