I have had a collection
of
brooches for some years
and
have decided to get rid of them
since I haven't used them to this point:D
I listed these this morning on Ebay! We shall see:D
There are some nice FENDI, MONET, SAFARI and WEISS pieces.......
I don't normally shop J.C. Penny, but we have a brand new store that just opened up down the road! Yesterday, I decided to see if I could find a new spread for the Kid's Room at my house:D Instead, I found this wonderful dept. called "American Home".....a shop designed by Ralph Lauren.....right in the middle of Penny's! WOW......I couldn't believe it!
There was this GORGEOUS Trapunto spread with a little ruffle around the edge. The shams and throw pillows were lovely also.......so......I decided to change our bedroom to an all neutral color scheme.
Since the furniture is all cream and the curtains are cream/white I decided this would be a nice look for a change! I am thrilled with the results. The spread is fabulous!
You can go visit online if you like it too.......he has some wonderful things in this little shop:D
OH YES......I forgot to mention......everything in this shop is on sale 50% off!!!!!

Last spring I got a catalog from JCP, with the neatest room on the cover. I said to myself...that looks just like Ralph Lauren! Sure enough, it was American Home! Love it.

As for the soldering, mine looks just like yours. I've been told to get the book Simply Soldered. It arrived in the mail yesterday though, so I can't vouch for how good the tutorials are.
Penney's is famous (IMO)for it's home decor department! Enjoy! Linda
