1940's Children's Book....

Treadmills
This little book is in the new Somerset Studio Gallery/ Winter 2007. I made it sometime ago and can finally post the pics:D This little book is about 5" X 5" in size and made up of collage materials and images from vintage children's books. It so reminded me of my childhood.....simply, safe and secure:D

The little book is so sweet and cheerful. Being a 1940's "children" myself, it reminds me too.

you ROCK! it is simply gorgeous. I've been dying to try something like it, but just don't have the nerve yet (or all of the supplies). I love digging in the books at good will- always a find somewhere.

I love your book! It was a good idea to do it as an accordion too, so the images can be viewed all at once. I also love how you've used the ribbons. Yes, it makes me think of my childhood, and all the things I used to love before I became ashamed of things that were too girly.
congradulations on it being in summerset!
