Love to be busy.......

Treadmills
Tonight while watching TV I started a little dress for Margo!
Carrie and I went to the Wentzville flea market today and soon realized that we are going to have to get up earlier. It is a long drive and by the time we got there it was about noon!!!!! Well, not a good idea.....since many of the vendors were already closing up for the day:( We did find a few good things and had a good time anyway. On the way home we stopped at a darling children's shop called "Petunias" in the Valley. The clothes were magnificent and so were the prices......$119.00 for a little frock......$65.00 for a little top.....OH MY! As usual, I stole with my eyes and came home fired up to make another little dress with matching pants.
This is what I am working on. I think the pants will be the black with a little ruffle of the tiny red/black print (the same as the sheered piece at the waist). I need to get a zipper tomorrow so I can't finish the dress tonight:D I purchased the fabric online and really like it.....it is corduroy, which is hard to find in printed goods.

Hey Linda...
When I lived in Chesterfield I used to go to the Wentzville flea market every Sunday... while the weather was good. I was usually out the door by 6:30 AM and there by 7 AM and sometimes even that felt a little late. But I still have some wonderful things from there that I will always cherish !!

We used to go to the Wentzville flea market quite a bit. I bet one of my buyers from Saturday sets up there. She seemed to buy things that would sell at the flea market or a shop.

If you can get there when they take down, you sometimes get a bargain. We were always there around 8am. It's a great flea market if you can time it right.

Is the ice house antiques still in Eureka? We were there a couple times several years ago.

Linda, This is the cutest.... I have a 4 year old great granddaughter that would love this dress.
Thank you for peeking at my blog and thanks for the kudos.

Cory from AZ.

Cute, cute, cute!
My grandma used to make me little dresses. She always made matching panties/shorts so the boys couldn't see anything when I climbed on the monkey bars....
I wish I still had some of those dresses.

Linda, this little dress--and the others--are absolutely precious. How lucky your granddaughters are!
