Step Two........

The next step to my collage is adding wallpaper flowers. I had already decided on a color scheme so it was important to bring in some of those colors. I tamed down the vintage card by overlapping wallpaper over areas that I didn't want to show! I wanted the weight to be at the bottom of the pages so I added my flowers in that area. I will keep most of the focus and activity to the bottom of each page. I also applied the hats that you saw in the first step:) Now that I have the flowers applied it is time for me to decide how to handle the upper portion. I don't know if you can see, but I have drawn in a bird cage shape over Margo (the one in the pointed hat:) I will elaborate on that with paint in the next step. I also want a gothic arch in someway over Milly (the younger baby:). In the next step I will try to show you how I paint in the play with the collage once everything is dry:) Stay tuned..........so glad you are enjoying this:)
My idea is to have the wood Bloom somewhere in the collages. Not sure how yet:) I also want to incorporate some tall steps with flowers in Margo's collage. I will also probably write a message to Hunter somewhere in one of the collages. See you later...
