Break from same ole....same ole!

After about 10 hrs. of sitting at the computer working for my son.....
I had to get out of my PJ's and out of the house!!!!!!
I have been wanting to do something to the lower level fireplace.
The same picture has hung there pretty much for 7 years.
Occasionally I have changed things out, but never completely.
I headed to Michael's with a coupon in hand.
Wasn't sure what I wanted to do,
but I had an inkling!
I didn't want Halloween anymore.
For some reason that doesn't work for me anymore.
I wanted something that will last through
to the Christmas season and decor:D
With a little help from a chalk board
I made for the mall
and
some fake artichokes I found in storage.....
I was on my way.
I love the way it turned out.....
so refreshing to look up and see something
new,
fresh
and
different:D
