Lunch with the Monday Night Ladies.....

Only Art Teachers would be so bold as to do an art project in the middle of a crowded restaurant! Today the old group got together to have lunch at MiMi's, a popular restaurant at Boone's Crossing in Chesterfield Valley.
About 15 minutes into gathering Sue H. says, "Anyone up for a project?". We all laughed and said, "Go for it."
Sue pulls out all these snowflakes she has prepared for us along with a hole punch and scissors for everyone. We all had a good laugh:D
With that we started cutting.....thank goodness we had a compassionate waitress:) She had no problem with us making a mess!!!!!
The gift that Sue had brought for us was related to the project....LOL
She bought each of us a differnt book on making snowflakes......a signed edition at that.
Each book had a theme......musical instrument snowflakes.....animal snowflakes....holiday snowflakes......botanical snowflakes.......and......insect snowflakes.
The author had signed each book and addressed them to us personally.

Sue L. bought a 2010 White House ornament for each. For many years she and her family had visited the White House at Christmas because of her friendship to Hillary Clinton. Sue and Hillary grew up across the street from one another and were and still are good friends.
Lois made each of us a darling terracotta Teddy Bear. So sweet and just perfect for the shelf in my kids room:D
Connie and I didn't get the phone call that we were exchanging gifts......so we owe them!!!!!
Really fun time...............so good to visit with old friends!

OMGoodness, what a fabulous fun group you are in. And what a clever friend to be prepared to play ART at the restaurant.
