Recently my hubby and I have been going to auctions in our area! Boy, are they fun:D We usually make a night of it since they usually have a good dinner available...like fried fish, meat loaf and mashed potatoes etc. etc. etc. Desserts homemade as well! The action is exciting and I have been known to raise my card once to often.....but very seldom bid on the really treasured antiques. What I am looking for are smaller pieces of furniture that I can paint or Shabby Chic. The pics are of several pieces I got last Monday night. They are ready for Craigslist or the Antique Mall. If you have never tried an auction....you should! People watching is good and there is always something you can't live without!
