G.L.O.R.I.O.U.S. S.P.R.I.N.G!

We went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens today to enjoy the tulips.....

and enjoy we did!

We also had a tasty lunch outside on the patio:D

The Gardens never cease to amaze me.....never looks the same as the time before! Today was the Tulips and the Azaleas.

Planted in between the tulips in each bed were Pansies.

That made the beds soooooo full and lush!

We are so fortunate to have such a spectacular Botanical Garden

here in St. Louis:D

Pictures can't do it justice.

Cyndy and Bev in front of the ponds!

A sweet little man offered to take a picture of all of us in front of the primary ponds!

We observed several artists painting.

This artist was nice enough to spend some time talking to us......

Carpet like Phlox were stunning!

I don't remember ever seeing "fringed tulips" before!

Field of Virginia Bluebells!

Beautiful day with friends in one of our favorite places:D

What a gorgeous botanical garden! My hub and I went to ours a few weeks ago, and it was equally pretty and we enjoyed the day as well. Just seems to refresh the spirit doesn't it?
