Friday was Devoted to the Mall......

Last week Rog and I spent one entire day putting up a shelf around the top of our booth at the mall! It was extremely hard because we had to work around all this STUFF with no where to go! What a sweet husband I have.....working 5 hrs. to get the mess straightened out....YEA for Wonderful Husbands:)

Today, Sandy and I devoted the entire day to painting the booth.......backwards? SURE.....is there any other way? We started one wall at a time.....moving everything away and to the center. Fumbling over all the STUFF....we were able to roll and brush the day away! I even caulked all the splits in the plywood shelf to make the edge look better:) Once complete we went to Walmart and got some task lighting and a rug. After getting everything back in place we basked in a "job well done"!

You must remember we do not have NEW things! This is all purchased at thrift stores, estate sales and wherever!!!!! We paint the furniture....at least most of it. We mend, glue, make pillows for.....shine, polish or whatever it takes to make it presentable. It is so much fun and we have been having pretty good months in spite of the economy:D It is fun having a sister to share it with......
