from "The Hill" to "The Sofa"......K.C.

My daughter-in-law and I started out visiting Nell Hill's....one of my favorite shipping stops! Their furniture is fabulous......I might have to start saving my pennies for this little number above :)

Love the way the books are displayed on the back wall.....all turned backwards so that you only see the cream color!

These pictures do not do the place justice....unfortunately!

All the rooms are decorated with Mary Carol's paints....which they sell there :)

I used the dark brown they have in my hall bathroom and love the richness of the color.

Their fabric room is stuffed full of the most gorgeous fabrics at very reasonable prices!

Mary Carol Garrity.....owner of Nell Hill's

their website can be found here.....
Then, it was off to the Curious Sofa......another shopping stop we always make! The creativity that goes into the store displays is really something! It is always changing with such a neat blend of old and new.

Little vignettes everywhere so pleasing to the eye! Great mix of antiques and new!

My daughter in law and I concluded our shopping at "The Curious Sofa" where we found wonderful displays in taupe and cream! The store is powerful with it's vintage feel and vintage color palette!

They have such charming bedding and linens. Also a great line of lotions and soaps!

Here's Arica looking at a small display. Hard to tell that she is 4 months pregnant :)

This little cottage is filled with bird cages and other outdoor items. Their furniture is to die for. Linen covers in neutral patterns make for a soft and beautifiul setting.

The Curious Sofa now has a blog......if you like what you see you might be interested in check it out.

I love Nell Hill's and Mary Carol's style. It's been over a year since I visited Nell Hill's in KC!! Never been to Curious Sofa. Would love to see this shop!

Was Mary Carol there, the day you went?
