Flooded Again!

Treadmills
My poor daughter and son-in-law are facing their SECOND FLOOD in two months!!!!! My hubby is a contractor and had just completed repairing all the damage done by the first flood:( Everything looked great....new ceramic tile, carpet and all that drywall work....wow! All the walls were cut away about 2 feet up from the floor line. They were just beginning to enjoy the new, clean space when........SUNDAY.....it all happened again:( The water rushed in and left its ugly mess AGAIN! Today Rog went over to see the damage and how the flood clean-up crew was coming! The shots he took with his digital were soooooooo sad! Everything is torn out again. Carpeting gone, drywall cut away again, tile being treated with chemicals in case there was sewerage involved. WHAT A MESS! While he was there he took a few pics of Milly as she put on her dress up shoes and made her way around upstairs:D She loves dressing up. She is getting so big, I can hardly believe how fast it is all going (she is my littlest peep).

Cute photo of Miss Milly, Linda!

I wondered how things were going down your way, when we watched the news. This year must have been extremely stressful, for your daughter and family. I hope this is the last of the flooding, this year.

What a little doll you Milly is in her high heel shoes. I guess I didn't know about the first flood at your children's home. But again, OMGoodness. Dreadful! I'm wishing them all the best and wishing there would be something I could do.

Linda,

Sorry to hear that the flooding affected someone that you love. I will keep you all in my thoughts. Your hubby is such a nice person and I am sure you will be there to help as well.

Now let me tell you little Miss M is so ADORABLE. This is a great picture. You need to add this picture to one of your journals.

Linda you take care and I agree with Pat I hope it's the last of the flooding. IL got hit as well. If you remember my post of the park with the waterfall. Well I passed by the other day and the park was blocked off. No one allowed because of flooding. There are houses right along the river and when I was driving by there was tons of stuff thrown out... it looked like this was stuff that had water damage.

Blessing to you and take care and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
