Another Soap Box Moment!

Treadmills
I don't mean to wail, whine or weep..........but......I want to tell you how important a comment can be!!!!!! It takes a great deal of time to update your blog daily and although I know it is one's personal choice......it only becomes worthwhile to the blogger when they become aware that there are people out there enjoying it:) I don't think bloggers do this work just to see their words or pictures in print.....although I may be wrong (it certainly wouldn't be the first time....LOL). I am so thrilled when I receive a comment or two. That is what this is all about....I think:D Anyway, lately I have felt like I am writing to myself. Now, I could actually be doing something really useful like laundry or cleaning the bathrooms, but NO.........I feel this magnetic pull to the computer to not only write of something that has happened during the day, but to see if anyone has written me a note. You can't imagine how disappointing when no one has written.....or maybe you can! But I just want to close by saying that a comment or two can make a blogger's day! I really mean that. So, would you consider leaving comments on blogs that you visit.....even if it is just a Hi or I was here:D Thanks for listening once again......that is if anyone is really out there!

I know just what you mean about how good comments can make you feel and how discouraging it is to not recieve any at other times!

Sorry that I don't comment each time I visit - I enjoy stopping by!

I feel the same way, and my day is made when someone leaves a comment about something I've written. However, I am new to blogging, and have been thinking I'm just writing to read myself...lol. I am going to keep on though in hopes that I may eventually connect.
I was here today, and I read you frequently.
Keep on!

Hi Linda,
I love all that you share. I do bounce over during the week between customers...at the office.
I always enjoy pictures of your grands.
And I do so enjoy your visits at my place. Absolutely enjoy knowing that you stopped by. Thank you

I think most bloggers feel like you do...it's just like getting a letter in the mail box...a comment makes you feel good. Knowing that someone is out there validating who we are and what we do,like a little pat on the shoulder.
I don't visit that often, but when I do, I'll be sure to let you know I was here !!

Linda, I haven't left a comment in a while (why is it so hard to do between Blogger and Typepad?!) but I read your blog EVERY DAY! You are one of my faves and I can't start the day without seeing what you are up to!

Hopefully others haven't had the problem I had last time I tried to post--it wouldn't accept my password. And I was putting in the correct password, really! I know how it feels to wish someone would visit and leave a note. My website FleasKneesStudio.com rarely gets a note, but later people tell me "I really loved your website!" (Why don't they send a note, even though the notes aren't public???) Anyway, all this to say Linda Lou that I LOVE your blog and you must forgive all of us who are busy cleaning out post-Christmas and ignoring leaving notes even when we are definitely here and LOVING YOU and your blog!!! Blessings, Linda Shields

Hi Linda,

I want to comment each time I visit because your blog is so inspiring. But sometimes I am afraid I comment too much.
Regardless, I stop by daily and have learned so much from you. I would love to see more tutorials from you. ;)

It's very hard when you feel like no one is there. I don't get alot of traffic, but the ones that do come are wonderful. I have few real talents...so I am blessed if anyone is interested.
Hugs, Mary

Sorry I haven't been by in awhile. Things are pretty hectic at home right now. Seems like my body just can't keep up with my mind. I always enjoy your blog and find it so inspiring. Love your new background color.
