Best of Missouri....

Last week-end was the Annual "Best of Missouri" show at the St. Louis Botanical Gardens. It is always fun and full of Missouri creativity! Everything shown is obviously made in Missouri! It was very warm, but crowded and fun! The unfortunate part was that as soon as I took this pic of Chase in the children's water area....some large man (300+ lbs) came charging across the area. He knocked Chase down once and then to add insult to injury.....he pulled him up by one arm and dropped him again where he fell and hit his mouth on a metal tub holding a permanent sprinkler system:( He never even checked to see if Chase was O.K......just went about his business and sat down on the wall to watch his child:( Meanwhile Chase was screaming his head off.....bleeding from his mouth and almost out of breath from fear.....after all his is only 18 months and had NO IDEA what was going on! Uncontrolled screaming followed all the way to the Emergency Room. Chase had both front teeth chipped and one of his front teeth had been knocked half-way out and the doc tried to push it back in! He felt that the gum may grab the tooth again and become firm.......if not....not sure what will happen:( It is really a sad commentary on our society when a man can be at fault for hurting a small child in a public place and never even enquire about his well being or say he is sorry! HOW HARD IS IT TO SAY..."I AM SORRY"!!!!!!! It really makes me sad to see that we care so little about each other.....

Boy, this just makes me want to punch out that guy's lights! Hope Chase is doing better now.

Grrr...is right. People around here have no idea on how to even say "excuse me" when they walk right in front of you!!!!

The same thing happened to my daughter at about the same age. She had a root canal in both teeth which at least kept the teeth there until the adult ones pushed them out. Granted they were yellow in color until she was 6, but at tleast the teeth were there.
