In Progress Projects.......

Treadmills
I have been working on a couple of new pieces. The first is an abstract in acrylic! Not sure how much more I want to do to it.......The bottom piece is an experiment with glazing! After completeing a collage with scraps of canvas, acrylic paint, pencil, paper, photo and paint on canvas, I tried glazing with resin! I simply mixed the resin and poured it over the surface....using a brush to make sure it covered the entire surface. I let it drip over the edges and onto the scrap paper underneath......BIG MISTAKE! It became ONE with the paper underneath:D Not sure how I will remove it without pulling off the paint on the sides of the canvas! Will deal with that later.......anyway.....I thought I would share my painting efforts....have a great day:D

these are gorgeous, I love the resin coated one. I have been thinking of trying that for some time now. I think I would try and cut the paper away with a blade....or make it part of the design if cutting it away doesn't work ;-) anyway thanks for visiting me!! Have a great day.

Just wonderful Linda. This resin is very interesting effect. I really like it. Did you put the sewing machine away for a while? All those little dresses were stunning as were the babies wearing them.

Hi Linda, I'm loving these beautiful pieces. I really want to try doing and abstract canvas. Perhaps I'll dig out my paints.

Once again, I enjoyed the photos of those sweet kiddos. Your outfits remind me of Lily Pulitzer! Beautiful!

If you take some sandpaper and swipe at the edges that are glued to the scrap paper it will take it off beautifully~
