She touched me..............

Treadmills
My precious sister has been working on something SPECIAL for me for the past year but would never give me a hint! Well, last night, at my Birthday dinner the gift was given.......and......I must say that it touched my heart! She had made a box of memories for me........some pictures I had never seen before! She carefully and creatively put together childhood memories with photos of our grandparents, parents and ourselves. Seeing my father's handwriting brought tears to my eyes. He has been dead since I was twenty-five and I still get teary when I think of that wonderful man and the love he had for us! My mom was tiny and so cute! Again, pictures I had never seen of them on their honeymoon thrilled me! How do you say "Thank You" for such a special gift? This was certainly one of the most meaningful presents I have ever received, if not the most meaningful! I want to share it with you because it is so beautifully done:) My sister, my love, thank you again and again...........

What a beautiful gift. My pictures and memementos of loved ones are my greatest treasures. I love to spend time sharing them with my family and telling or often retelling all the old stories. I am glad to hear you had such a great birthday.

What an incredible gift. Of course, everyone knows that you would not spend all of that time and effort on a gift unless the recipient was incredible and would be very appreciative of it. So there you go, you must be! Happy Birthday.

What a wonderful gift. I'm jealous. I've been working on a Heritage Album and trying to limit each person to one page, but with my extra pictures I might just try to make a Keepsake box similar to yours. I just love it, your sister did a great job.

I've been thinking about making a card or tag book for my brother's 46th birthday with pictures of him as a child. Got any suggestions?

Dear Ms. Harra,

You are doubly fortunate. You have received a wonderful gift of beautifully presented family memories from an adoring sister, the wonderful gift your mother and father gave you years ago. No need to remind you to treasure her.

Regards,
Beth
