My little grandsons were diagnosed with RSV and are not feeling very well:( Their mood is all smiles until they cough! They are having a hard time breathing and have to use a nebulizer (sp?) several times a day. I thought they needed some cheering up and am finishing two teddy bears to take to them today! My little peeps don't cry much and hold onto their sweet little dispositions even when they don't feel good. One twin has a double ear infection as well.......
I want to applaud all those that make these darling stuffed animals I see on blogs:) These were not easy and I sew alot!!!! The directions from the manufacturer of patterns are anything but CLEAR!!!! The second try was much easier I must admit! Well, time to finish bear 2 and then off to visit my babies:)

I was out in the cold and snow--nothing like you guys will be getting I'm sure--and have lingering asthma from a cold. I know just how they feel. I used to make artist teddy bears and you are right, they are difficult to make and do a really good job. Hope the guys feel good soon.
ohh...babies get better soon. My son when he was little was so sick with asthma and lived on a nebulizer and albuterol. The number one trick...if the doctor has told the mamma to only use the machine every so many hours, in between those hours, she can still give them just the plain saline solution. Chances are the Rx is the albuterol already mixed with the saline in little viles....if this is the case, she can just buy the saline by itself at the pharmacy !!! It works great giving this in between the set hours of the Rx.
Thanks for the info Beth. I will pass it on:)
The bears are adorable.
Prayers that those sweet babies get better soon.
So sorry to hear they are sick !
That must be so scarey.
You are a Good Gram to make such sweet teddies !
Love, S.
