This book was sent to us by another elementary school in our district to help our children deal with the grief of losing a fellow student (7 yrs. old). I read it and couldn't help but being moved to tears. The artwork is superb and the message is absolutely beautiful! In a school setting we are not allowed to talk about God or heaven, but this books does it all without mentioning these two factors. If you have a child dealing with the death of someone special to them you may want to get this book. I found it on Amazon in the used section for as little as 6.45. Great buy!!!! The author is Warren Hanson and the book is fabulous!

I just found your blog, and I love it!!! I read this book outloud at my grandmother's funeral. I had wanted to speak about her, but didn't think that I could be eloquent enough.....this was so beautiful, and I have since bought it for others when they have lost a loved one.
