Direct from Tibet......

My niece, Tracey, is traveling through China and Tibet by herself. She plans to be gone about 4 months I think! Staying at hostels and walking the countryside, she is in search of the people, customs and culture. She has planned this trip for a year now and nothing would stop her. Being only 28 and in a strange land we were all very nervous about her going. Tracey is in love with her camera. She will buy a new lens before she thinks of purchasing any other item for herself. Caring little about clothes, style or what others think.....this little trooper is off to see the world HER WAY! I have never heard her say an unkind word about anybody and that is probably why everyone is so open to her. Her she is in a country where she doesn't know the language and yet can get the natives to pose and smile for her.....go figure! Tracey had some of her pictures of 9/11 used in a book and foreign newspaper. She, by the way, arrived in New York....again on her own.....that fate filled day! As a photo-journalist, Tracey is a perfectionist. Her images are breathtaking and filled with the human story! I adore her and will post more of her work as she travels through the backyards of the world! You Go Girl............and come home to us safe and sound! We love you................ Posted by Picasa

Wow, I appreciate so much the praise! Thank you!

Life is so incredibly amazing, and so very simple. I'm out walking, smiling, and ready to talk, ready to listen.
