away for the week-end.............

we went to Branson, Mo. to meet my son, Jeff , and his wife, Arica, this week-end. my sis and her husband went with us....always fun to spend time with family! it was such a pleasant and much needed break for all of us. we stayed at a beautiful cabin (brand new) deep in the Ozark hills. my son and his father purchased the cabin to rent out as an investment property...but have ended up using it more than renting it! after a shop-till-you-drop day for the girls and a golfarama for the men it was off to a local little rest/bar for a great dinner of walleye and other fried goodies....then onto sitting on the screened porch way into the wee hours talking and catching up. upon arriving home i was met by my garden all bursting with color. so many of my lillies had bloomed along with other plants i simply had to get my camera out for a few more pics. this beautiful hibiscus was blooming on the deck and the stelladora were blooming the back yard around a little fountain. flowers have a way of making you feel so welcome when you arrive at home:)
