Inspiration Thursday....sepia series......
although many of you that view my blog have seen these before....i thought they would make a good series for this weeks entry "Inspiration Thursday". here are a series of boxes i made based primarily on cabinet cards and vintage stories. i love to day dream about the days when life was less hectic and think about life back then. the minute i meet one of my characters, they seem to speak to me....telling me secrets of their personal lives. by recreating scenes that might have taken place in their day i feel a real connection to the past. it is a comfort food for me! once i start i don't want to stop to eat, sleep or answer the phone. it's as though the story has started and must be finished before the mood escapes:0 i think you all know what i mean.....we have all been there!

Your boxes are fabulous-but as a group they are WOWIE fabulous!
Beautiful, one day I will create something like this. Judy xx
miwhat a creative idea, boxes as picture frame still life views, collecting them together seems to make them even more impressive, I like that.
Beautiful!!
this is a beautiful collection... and I loved hearing about your amazing creative process -- when your art speaks to you like that, you definitely know you found your niche!
Thanks for participating at Inspire Me Thursday!
These look very beautiful! They make a gorgeous grouping in their sepia tones and vintage images. It must be neat to connect with these images they way you do...it makes the process much more than just creating art. It becomes a form of communication with their spirits that you can then convey to your audience. I only wish the phto was larger so i could see the details!
